ONTHEMARC’S

SOcial responsibility PROGRAM

OTM is committed to helping those in need by impacting their lives in a meaningful way. Our philanthropic goals are the same ones that drive our business: they are to bring smiles to people who we touch, to wow them with an experience that they will not forget and to exceed expectations.

The needs in society are vast and as a small hospitality business it is impossible to meet all of them. As a result, we have chosen to focus our philanthropy in three areas:
• Children’s health with a focus on oncology
• Environment
• First responders
In all cases, the objective is to use the company’s infrastructure and talent to make a difference. A key requirement is that we touch the people/children being impacted in some way; the personal connection is paramount.

Our objective is to use the company’s infrastructure and talent to make a difference

OTM’s philanthropic mission is to provide unexpected and meaningful experiences that will impact the lives of the people it touches.

Learning that a child has a debilitating disease has a transformative effect on the child, parents and family. The years following the diagnosis are emotionally and financially stressful and there are few opportunities for experiences that bring some joy into their lives. OTM wants to change this by:
• Supporting nonprofits that help families as they work through their children’s healthcare journey
• Using its resources, such as its venues, food and talent to provide uplifting experiences

CHILDREN'S HEALTH WITH A FOCUS ON ONCOLOGY

As a food service company, we recognize the importance of sustainability and its impact on the food supply and society’s overall welfare. It is also an area that the team is passionate about and want to volunteer their time to help make a difference. OTM will consider:
• Local organizations that provide meaningful, hands-on volunteer opportunities.
This can include planting and clean-ups as well as exposing children and their families to the connection between the environment and the food supply.

ENVIRONMENT

When there is an accident or emergency, the people responsible for providing care and easing the pain are first responders. They work when we don’t; on weekends, holidays and special occasions. We value their commitment to the greater good and want to thank them by providing special meals that make them feel appreciated and loved.

FIRST RESPONDERS

OTM partners with a select number of nonprofits so we can maximize our impact and develop deep and meaningful relationships. Our primary donations are in-kind. All charitable contributions, whether in-kind or financial, must be to organizations that have been approved by the IRS as 501(c)(3) charities and government institutions. We do not fund walks/runs or capital campaigns.

OTM does not accept unsolicited grant requests.
OTM does not fund:
• Organizations that do not have 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status

• Organizations that discriminate on the basis or religion, gender, race, ethnicity, political beliefs, disabilities or sexual orientation

• Individuals

• Lobbying organizations or political candidates
