Part-Time · Westchester & Fairfield Counties
As part of the Service Team at events, your duties may include:
Unloading and loading catering trucks during set up and breakdown of events.
Setting up and breaking down field kitchens including: totes, tables, kitchen and cooking equipment, etc.
Executing your assigned tasks to the highest degree of quality under the Chef's direction
Preparing and serving hors d'oevures, stationary displays, creative stations, plated meal service and more
Supporting a safe work environment by following work rules and safety guidelines
Supporting event service and logistics needs with the support of catering management and lead staff
SKILLS
Ability to work in an environment with hot and cold conditions
Ability to life up to 50 lbs of weight
Capable of standing for long periods of time
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation and handling, and knife handling
Work within a flexible and ever-changing schedule
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in the food and/or hospitality industries.
Required: High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred: Hospitality Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree or related Certifications.
Passion for Food & Hospitality.

Setting up and breaking down your assigned bar to event specification
Inventorying your bar at the beginning and end of the event
Maintaining high product quality of all perishable bar items including juices, garnishes and others
Greeting guests in a charming and helpful manner
Serving classic and specialty cocktails, beer, wine and soft drinks while practicing diligent portion control
Replenishing your bar stock throughout events
Executing tableside beverage service at seated affairs
Maintaining an attractive, clean bar display at all times
Performing side work and other duties as assigned

SKILLS
Meet and serve customers in a polite and friendly manner.
Communicate in clear, professional & grammatical manner.
Follow detailed instructions
Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and principles of mixology, industry standard pours, liquor laws, etc.

Replenishing food and beverage stations throughout events
Executing table service meals including wine and coffee service
Performing side work including: polishing silverware and glassware, filling condiments and coffee service items, assisting in loading and unloading of catering trucks, etc.
Cleaning dining rooms and event spaces
Providing cleaning and organizational support during catered events to minimize trash and ensure buffets and beverage stations stay clean, neat and organized
Communicating customer requests clearly to management and event leads throughout service
Providing customers with detailed and accurate information on food and beverage offerings
Supporting a safe work environment by following work rules and safety guidelines
Supporting event service and logistics needs with the support of catering management and lead staff
