PB&J Thumbprint Cookies
School your friends and family at the next holiday cookie exchange with these scrumptious cookies - an undeniably classic combination of peanut butter and jelly. If they don't make it to the cookie exchange, we don't blame you. Ours didn't either.

METHOD
Making the Dough
- Preheat oven to 325'F
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside
- In a large bowl, beat butter, peanut butter and sugars with mixer until light and fluffy
- Add egg and vanilla to the sugar-butter mixture, lightly blending
- Fold flour into wet mixture until fully combined
Forming the Cookies
- Shape cookie dough into 1-in. balls
- Place on a cookie sheet 1.5 in. apart
- Using thumb, make a small depression in the center of each ball
Baking the Cookies
- Bake 11-13 minutes or until golden brown
- Remove from oven and scoop a teaspoon of jam into each thumbprint
- Put cookies back into oven to form jam to the cookie
- Remove, allow to cool and eat. all. the cookies
