This beautiful waterfront wedding was held at the bride’s family’s home on the Long Island Sound in Shippan. Keeping with the clients’ vision of a rustic feel, details like the ceremony benches, the hand-written bar signs, and even the chandeliers were paid close attention to. Guided by the bride’s vegan lifestyle, the menu was designed to include dairy free and mostly meat-free options. For the main event, guests dined under a clear top tent, and enjoyed hors d’oeuvres like grapefruit wrapped in shiso leaves, tofu spring rolls, carrot ginger soup as well as a stationary ceviche bar. Being a favorite for the couple, desserts were designed specifically for the event.
